He fell. Silently.
The rain fell with him. His unconscious body carving a path through frozen raindrops.
For they moved so quickly and with so little sound that it seemed that they were indeed frozen, and so the boy moved through them.
His fall continued. Everlasting.
And soon to come to an end.
The light shone.
It blazed.
And his descent slowed, and the rain unfroze.
It moved increasingly faster, soon striking and falling past him in tiny, powerful drops.
After a while the rain slowed, then ceased.
And still he floated slowly down, in an orb of shining light.
The distant ground emerged, and he neared it steadily, floating through
I flicked my wrist.
Flames. Catching.
Fire licking the air, tasting, flaring and moving outward, eating and flickering through the room.
It burned the walls, the floor, the roof, the bed.
And it burned in silence.
Slowly it moved up my legs, and what should be scorching heat was gentle and warm; soft fingers brushing upwards a silent sigh.
I felt my heart flutter at its touch, almost as if my soul was rippling. And the flames continued onward. Their movement crawling forwards, floating on an invisible breeze.
I reached out and it came faster, rushing to meet my hands. Engulfing them in satisfaction. A wish to burn and devou
